WILD VIKING WEDDING

Wedding
Getting married in winter? Do you like it a little darker and wilder? Then this Viking-inspired wedding might be just the thing for you!
The symbolic wedding ceremony took place in the cave of the Neandertal No. 1, not far from Düsseldorf; dinner was served in the adjoining Farnraum ('fern room').
The menu was vegetarian and vegan with ingredients primarily grown locally; the cake and cupcakes were vegan as well.
The flowers were mostly local and sustainable, the rings made from recycled fine gold, the stationery was printed on seed paper, and even the bow ties and suspenders were made from sustainable materials: wood and cork!
Instead of a guest book, we had unique alternatives: a guest wall for hammering short notes and an audio guest book for audible wishes!
